Specification For Installation Of Shaft-mounted SEW Reducer Jan 03, 2020

Specification for installation of shaft-mounted SEW reducer

With the increasing application of SEW reducers, in order to meet the needs of the majority of production enterprises, the types of reducers have begun to increase. As one of them, the shaft-mounted SEW reducer is currently used in a large number of production and processing units. When installing the shaft-mounted SEW reducer, workers should install it in accordance with the work specifications.

When installing a shaft-mounted reducer, the connection between the reducer and the working machine should be performed first, and the reducer should be directly mounted on the main shaft of the working machine. When the SEW reducer is running, it will be combined with the SEW reducer case. Install the SEW gearbox on the SEW gearbox or balance it by other methods.

When installing the anti-torque bracket, you need to pay attention to that the anti-torque bracket should be installed on the side of the reducer facing the working machine, so that the bending moment attached to the working machine shaft can be reduced. Anti-moment brackets and shaft sleeves that support the connection end should use elastomers made of rubber and other materials to prevent problems such as deflection. In the process of installing the anti-torque bracket, the tools and materials used are in compliance with the working regulations to avoid affecting the overall operation of the reducer due to improper use of tools.

The installation distance between the SEW reducer and the working machine should be as small as possible, so as to avoid deflection of the main shaft of the working machine, and at the same time avoid additional force on the bearing of the reducer. Although the distance between the reducer and the working machine needs to be as close as possible, it is also necessary to pay attention not to affect the normal working state. When debugging the distance, you should consider whether the working conditions of other surrounding equipment will be affected.

When installing the shaft-mounted SEW reducer, you need to follow the steps to install it. You must first connect the reducer and the working machine, and then install the anti-torque bracket. After the installation is complete, you need to debug the gearbox and the working machine. Maintain a proper distance between them, so that the shaft-mounted reducer can be more stable during work.
