RC51 Gearbox

Disassembling the gearbox

The gearbox of a lawn mower is very heavy and requires support when you remove it from the lawn mower. Unscrew the bolts that connect it to the lawn mower. After disconnecting the gearbox, you can simply remove the old gearbox for easy handling.

Replacing the gearbox

If you have followed the above instructions correctly, you should now be ready to install the replacement gearbox. After removing the old gearbox, reconnect the bolts that secure the new gearbox to the lawn mower, ensuring that these bolts are tightened as tightly as possible.
Reconnect
Simply connect each shaft to the correct position on the gearbox and ensure that the transmission shaft is fixed in the correct position. Top up the transmission fluid that was lost during the removal of the extension housing.
Test drive
Finally, when you have completed the entire process, take your car for a test drive. If the gearbox is a brand new component, it is expected that there will be a slight change in stiffness at the beginning.
