ピントルチェーン
Pintle chains are widely used in agriculture, industry, and municipal fields. Each type of chain link has specific properties, depending on its intended use. From 400 class to 900 class, there are several different levels of pivot chains, each with specific functions specific to specific industries and applications.

Pintle Chain VS Roller Chain
Pintle Chain and Roller Chain are two different types of chains, with the main difference being:
- Structure:
The Pintle Chain adopts thick outer chains and circular links, which can withstand tension and torsion.
The Roller Chain uses chain discs and links to withstand tension, and the chain discs roll on the links to reduce friction. - Applications:
Pintle Chain is mainly used to connect trucks and trailers to transmit traction.
Roller Chain is mainly used for transmission purposes, such as driving mechanical equipment. - Performance:
The Pintle Chain allows for limited lateral and longitudinal motion and can absorb vibrations.
The roller chain has a relatively fixed path and cannot absorb vibrations. - Efficiency:
The efficiency of Pintle Chain is relatively low and there is friction loss.
The roller chain has high efficiency, and the rolling of the chain disc reduces friction. - Overall:
Pintle Chain is used for connection and traction, which requires a certain degree of motion freedom.
The Roller Chain is mainly used for transmission and requires a stable travel path without significant oscillation.
The two types of chains have different functions and are selected for use according to different application scenarios.
Pintle Chain Applications
In the fields of agriculture, industry, and municipal administration, different levels of pintle chains have their own applications.
Wastewater system
400 class and 700 class pintle chains are commonly used in wastewater collectors and drive systems. The 400 class pintle chain is made of wear-resistant alloy and equipped with stainless steel hooks. The class pintle chain is made of steel, cast iron, and acetal (non-metallic) materials.
Spray application
600 class pintle chain and 400 class pintle chain are commonly used in various lifting appliances, such as fertilizer/salt/sand spreaders. Chains are usually equipped with crossbars for moving materials.
Conveying system
Due to its high strength and wear resistance, various class of pintle chains are widely used in conveying systems. But in the design of the pintle chain conveyor, the chain can only move in one direction.
Sugar Mill
The 400, 800, and 900 class pintle chains are used for different applications in sugar factories.
Overall, different class of pintle chains are suitable for different application scenarios, depending on the load requirements and usage environment. The chain structure and materials will selectively match the characteristics of different applications.
